"I know 5 stars, right?! Must be a bought review. Nope. This is the real deal. If you want your dream home, in your dream location, actually IN your price range, all the while being treated with great respect and consideration. Gregory Young is your guy. I mean it. We have been looking for the right home for a couple years. While a couple of years....well sometimes life got in the way. Sometimes it wasn't the right time in the market but Gregory never gave up. And he always gave us hope. He was patient and supporting throughout the entire process. There were times that my parents wanted to look at houses just because they were wanting homes to open up sooner. They would want to come see a house just because...my parents were worried or anxious to start the next portion of their life. Gregory would give us all the information about the houses and properties and gently add his input when he knew it DID NOT FIT there needs or budget. And there were times when he called and said I think there is a home or property that was interesting and had potential. We lived in Eastern Washington, so he really weighed each property and house to see if it was worth the drive and expense. He had the respect to tell us if he thought a house, we were wanting to look at out of desperation, was not the right fit nor worth the time and expense that comes with traveling from the Eastern side to the Western side. I just can't express how impressed and grateful I was to Gregory for ow he looked out for my parents. He not only met my parents every need but he also found a house that possessed some of our wants. And wants that we NEVER thought we could afford. In the end. "I highly recommend Mr. Gregory Young as a capable and knowledgeable real estate agent. I met Mr. Young as my husband and I were evaluating a piece of vacant land on Whidbey Island and he was recommended by the list agent. From the start until we closed the transaction, Mr Young guided us through skillful negotiation skills, detailed knowledge of local landscape, and careful follow through. Mr. Young was very accurate in suggesting the right offer price and the length of feasibility study. We were able to finalize the purchase price much lower than we originally thought and secure a favorable timeframe for feasibility study. Mr. Young was very acceesible via email, text and phone, and responded to our questions quickly. His priority was not to close the deal as soon as possible, but to negotiate the most favourable terms for us. I truly appreciated that. After the our offer was accepted, Mr.Young sent us a customized calendar detailing each deadline of all contingencies. He stayed on top of those dates throughout the process and reminded us of each deadline as they came. He spent a long time walking through the neighborhood patiently with us, giving detailed and fair accessment of pros and cons of the location. Again he wanted us to find a good fit, not just closing the deal. The best part of working with Mr. Young was his local knowledge and connections with local business professionals. Mr. Young recommended us a great feasibility study firm who completed the evaluation on time. When we ran into questions and roadblocks during the process, Mr. Young was effective to pulling in the right persons to resolve the issue. We read online about some planning by the city of Freeland and we were concerned. It was Mr. Young who quickly asked around with local folks and pointed us to the right directions to get the most up to date information. I had a lot of questions and requests during the closing process and Mr. Young answered every one of those efficiently. No question was too simple and no request was too bothersome. Mr. Young went above and beyond his duty. For example, once he received the key to the beach access, he checked that the key does work and sent us a picture. It was a pleasure to work with someone like Mr. Young who truly understood his clients' perspective and put our satisfaction as his first priority. We are pleased to have purchased the property with Mr. Young and would definitely work with him again when we have real estate needs on the island.
